当研究室では、様々なバックグラウンドを持ったメンバーが、脳機能の解明という共通の目標に向かって互いに協力し合いながら研究に励んでいます。今後も学問分野にこだわらず、多様な人材を積極的に受け入れて行く予定です。同じビル、フロアに脳神経科学の研究室が多くあり、合同セミナーや共同研究など交流も盛んで、脳科学・神経科学を研究する理想的な環境が整っています！

大学院生（修士・博士）
大学院生は，出身学部に関係なく意欲ある学生さんを募集中です。実験が好き、解析が得意など各人の特性に合わせた研究指導しますので、神経科学に興味がある方は誰でも歓迎します。山梨大学大学院総合研究部 生命医科学専攻（修士）、統合応用生命科学専攻（3年制博士）、医学専攻（4年制博士）として受け入れます。大学院には、先端脳科学特別教育プログラムがあり、基礎から臨床まで脳科学の様々な分野・領域を実践的に学ぶことができます。
- 脳や神経は難しそう。。→ 大学院に入ってから勉強すれば大丈夫です。
- 将来研究者になりたい。→ ぜひ来て下さい。全力で指導します。
- 就職できるか心配・・→ ぜひ来て下さい。全力で応援します。修士過程や博士過程を卒業して、企業に就職する人も多いです。

研究員
意欲的な博士研究員（ポストドクター）を求めています。研究室への参加を希望される方は、喜多村までお気軽にご相談下さい。下記のうち１つ以上の経験がある方を、歓迎します。
- 電気生理学（パッチクランプ、in vivoユニット記録など）
- イメージング（カルシウムイメージング、in vivoイメージング）
- 行動実験（ラット・マウスを用いた認知、学習、運動機能検査）
- 解析（データ解析、理論モデルなど）
- 分子生物学（タンパク質工学、ウィルス作製、in vivoへの遺伝子導入など）
- 形態学（免疫染色など）
学振特別研究員PD・RPDへの応募・受け入れの相談も歓迎します。現在進行中の研究テーマや関連する新しいプロジェクトも沢山あります。また、それに限らず、独自の奇抜なアイデア、秀逸な研究計画をお持ちの方も歓迎します。少しでも興味があれば気軽にご相談下さい。連絡をお待ちしています。

Graduate Students
For graduate students, we are looking for motivated students regardless of their background. We welcome anyone who is interested in neuroscience, as we provide research guidance tailored to the characteristics of each individual, such as a love of experimentation or strength in analysis. Graduate students are accepted as Biomedical Science (Master), Integrated Applied Life Science (3-year Doctoral Program), and Medicine (4-year Doctoral Program), Graduate School of Integrated Research, University of Yamanashi.

Postdocs
We are looking for highly motivated postdoctoral researchers. If you are interested in joining our laboratory, please feel free to contact Kitamura. We welcome applicants with experience in one or more of the following fields/technologies:
- Electrophysiology (patch clamp, in vivo unit recording, etc.)
- Imaging (calcium imaging, in vivo imaging)
- Behavioral experiments (cognition, learning, motor function tests using rats and mice)
- Analysis (data analysis, theoretical modeling, etc.)
- Molecular biology (protein engineering, virus creation, in vivo gene transfer, etc.)
- Morphology (histology, immunostaining, etc.)
We welcome applications for the JSPS International Postdoctoral Fellowships at any time. We have many ongoing research themes and related new projects.
